About me

I am Kristina Gedminaitė, a classical realist painter drawn to the quiet, often overlooked moments that carry a deeper presence. Through figurative oil paintings on canvas or wood panels, I use traditional techniques like multilayering and glazing to explore themes of stillness, soft light and the inner lives of woman.

Since beginning classical realism courses at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2018, painting has become more than technique - it has become my way of understanding and feeling the world around me. Each work I create seeks to balance careful craftsmanship with emotional depth, a space where silence and feeling coexist.

My work is an invitation to pause, reflect and find beauty in subtle and often melancholic moments.

Thank you for sharing this journey with me.
